The objective of the visit was to introduce themselves to the residents of Rosthern and to see if their was any way that the church could be of assistance to their neighbors. There were a few occasions when a door was shut in their faces before they could get past "Hello I am..." but for the most part Pastor Mark and Richard were greeted politely. During the home visits there were a few people who received the assurance of salvation and some that they prayed with. There were also quite a few people who have not yet found a church home and they were invited to come if they wished.

The next project for the undaunted duo is to knock on every door on the Beardy's - Okemasis reserve. They are looking for others, with a heart for their neighbors, that will assist them in interacting with the public or at least praying for them as they go. It is their goal to complete this project before winter comes again. It will likely require a few more people to knock on the doors in order to do so. What's the next task for Pastor Wicks and the crew? "During the winter, we will be focusing on indoor presentations right after we return from three weeks of ministry in the Philippines. Through posters and the post office boxes, we will be inviting the residents of Duck Lake, One Arrow, Beardy's - Okemasis and Rosthern to a 2 week conference that will likely take place in the middle of February."
